I just set up my new NASlite+ box on a compaq 233mhz 64mb machine.
Setup of the "server software" was a breeze.
I formatted the 200gb hdd and when I rebooted, it read 186.9gb avaliable / 20.0kb used. :-\

Another problem is that I am unable to find my "server" on the network...the default ip address was 192.168.1.1, but that is the ip address for my main router.
The "server" is connected to the secondary router, whose ip address is 192.168.1.2
I set the DHCP server to begin asigning ip addresses from 192.165.1.200-250
Thus I set the server to an ip address of 192.168.1.205.
I was unable to find it on the network....any help will be greatly appreciated.

ok a speedy reply.

186Gb sounds right... its all to do with how bits and bytes are represented.

you should also not have two router on the same subnet. Its hard to understasnd what exactly you are saying but...

take you server
plug it into a switch or hub by itself
plugin a laptop or pc into the hub
give the laptop a manual ip adress of 192.168.1.2
you should not be able to find you server on its default or noew address you gave it
at this point i expect you to find something weird with your settings

if not boot it with a fresh naslite disk
