I agree with others - NASLite+ is great!

Not being a mac person I have what I hope it is a simple questions for others...

I have four PC's on my home network and I am using the NASLite+ as a storage repository and backup device for all of them.

My daughter has a mac iBook G4 with a 30GB HDD at 99% full with music and pics. I wish to backup (copy) most of her files to a directory structure on the NAS device. However, I am having trouble accomplishing this.

Can anyone with OSX experience please provide the steps necessary to accmplish this task? Remember, I would like to copy entire directory trees to the NAS if at all possible?

Thanks,

B

ok.....

1. Press the (Command + K) button's while in the Finder/Desktop.

2. In the Connect to Server "Server Address" area type nfs://192.168.X.X/export/Disk-1

(X = what ever number's you assigned for NASLite+)

3. Hit the "Connect" button.

4. Now there should be on your desktop a "Disk-1" icon.

5. Now you can drag and drop all the files you want to the "Disk-1" icon.

& Yes NASLite+ is great! even on the Mac... hope it works for you ...
