Hello everyone,

There have been a number of magazine publications worldwide that have covered one or more versions of NASlite. The magazines we are currently most interested in are as follows:

- MicroMart (UK)
- C’t (Germany)
- PCQuest (India)

For our archives, we are interested in receiving one copy of each issue covering NASLite. Obviously a new issue is best, but that’s probably not realistic given the publishing dates. If used, the issue must be in good condition (no ripped or folded pages, stains, tears, etc). If you are interested in sending us a copy of the above publications, please contact us privately.

In return for your efforts and shipping expenses, we offer you a choice of free NASLite-FDU, NASLite+ or NASLite+ for USB Flash download account and license.

In addition, if you are aware of other publications that cover NASlite, please let us know. Please contact us privately with any details.

Thanks again to everyone for your patronage and support.

Hello Tony,

do you have a clue, in which issue of c't the article was published? I have them all, but didn't find an article by scanning them.

Regards,

uthi

Hi uthi

I'm not sure, but here is what I have - C't - number 25/04, starting from page 210

Also, there appears to be a mention in LinuxUser: http://www.linux-user.de/ausgabe/2004/0 ... istribits/ but i don't know if it made it in print.

I know those are sketchy details only, but that's all I have.

Hi Tony,

I am sorry to tell you that: in c't No. 25 there is an article on hardware NAS systems, but NASLite is not mentioned. In the meanwhile I went through my piles of c't issues back to 2004 -- NASLite never has been covered. I suggest you send them some information material on NASLite.

The link to LinuxUser describes very short the NASLite and links to your homepage.

Hello uthi,

Thanks for the prompt note. We were obviously misinformed. We went ahead and updated the Links and Media page (http://www.serverelements.com/media.php), but after reading your last post, I had to promptly remove c't from the list.

Yet another example when "jumping ther gun" gets you in trouble. Ralph always warns me about that ;-)

Hi Tony,

the actual issue of German c't magazine has a major topic on NAS servers. NASLite is just mentioned as an alternative with one sentence.
