Post subject: LFS files above 4GB
PostPosted: Mon Jul 04, 2005 5:12 am
mmmm I am a little confused, I know that the floppy version could only handle file sizes of around 4gb, and I read that naslite+ would have a different version of samba on the cd and that this would hanlde 2tb file sizes,
then I read that a user with naslite+ could still only use files up to 4gb.

Can anyone confirm the limit on naslite+
or point me in the direction of a url so i can read about the version of samba on the cd.

Thanks

For compatibility reasons all current version of NASLite share the same binaries. In other words, the 4G file limit is still pertinant for SMB transfers.

FTP and NFS will allow transfers above 4G
