I can use the Window Explorer window to ftp to the drives and they are visible. When I use WinFTP, I get a request for Login and Password. I tried admin and nas but it does not allow access. What am I missing???

All else works great with the NASLite+ product.

thanks -

okay, well it sounds like you are using the user name and password that you use to change the server settings.

This is different from the password the ftp server has. Actually the ftp server does not have a user name or password. IN the ftp software either try leaving both options blank or try to click on anonymous button that will probably block out user name and password.

The only thing the user name and password is for is to change server settings other than that you do not need passwords or user names to access the server.

being that the server is really for personal use it just cuts down on unneeded user checking.

hope that makes sense

WSFTP Pro now has removed the checkbox for anonymous logon - now you have to enter anonymous for the name and email address for the password. All works now - thanks for making me look for it.
