I've searched the forums and read the manual, but didn't see an answer to this question. I'm getting ready to buy NASLite+ to create a multimedia/storage server. I'm hesitant because I currently have an HTPC system running with XP and my videos on 1 drive under seperate partitions. If I load this drive into my NASLite+ box, will my contents be erased during the setup/configuration process or will the data stay on the drive untouched?

I ask because most of my drives that I will use in the NASLite box already have data on them from backups and day to day storage and I would hate to have to format them to get them set up in NASLite.

Thanks

From the NASLite+ manual:

"NOTE: During storage disk configuration, all data currently on the fixed disk will be lost. If you wish to preserve the data, make sure it’s properly backed up before configuring the fixed disk for use as NASLite+ storage."
