Doesn't matter, just write some partition info on the volume so sfdisk can do it's job. The partition will be overwritten to the correct one when you format in NASLite. That's the plan anyway. ;)

OK,

I have now tried everything, ubuntu 64 bit version complains about the size being a problem. I have formatted the disk to a 19TB raid 6... Ubuntu as with naslite see the disk just can not add partition.

It says that disks need to be smaller than 4.1TB surely this is not a limitation for 64 bit systems? Anyway i give up and am installing windows 2008 64bit server as a last solution, shame always used naslite as it is so fast and easy to install

regards

Marcus

I think that you have a very special case and will have to roll your own to allow a large partition like you are trying to have. Tony and Ralph are working on a SAN configuration in the future which may solve some of these issues you are having now. But that is in the future.
