Anybody have the XBox 360 working? If so what settings are you using on NASLite-M2? What file types do you have for photos and videos? If I use the generic setting the XBox does not even find the NASLite computer and if I use the XBox setting it shows the NASLite computer but can't find any videos or photos. I use mpeg files for video and jpeg files for photos.

Thanks,
Tom

I put some WMV and MP3 files in the MEDIA folder on my server and my 360 found them no problem at all using the XBox profile.

Well I tried avi, mp4, mpeg and wmv file and the XBox 360 can't find any video files using the XBox profile. Using the generic profile the XBox 360 doesn't find the NASLite computer at all. Does anyone have any ideas or does anyone have this working?

Thanks,
Tom

I can confirm that it does work since a friend of mine has an Xbox360, rips DVDs, and plays them back from a Linux based server. I do recall that he did have a bit of fun with getting it to work properly and that the Xbox is a bit of a picky bitch about the files it will see and play.

I will call him and see if he can shed light on this and get back to you with at least a bit of a lead if others don't first.

Mike

Are you changing the upnp profile, saving, then rebooting?

Will it save the upnp profile without rebooting? The profile does stay at XBox when I go back in.

Thanks,
Tom
