I purchased M2 the middle of Feb. I got an email today saying that a newer version was available. I bought it. Now I get an email tonight saying that everything will be 50% off starting on the 27th. Why wasn't the announcement of the 50% off included with the new version announcement? ARGHHHH!

The 50% off was put on Twitter almost 2 weeks ago, and if you bought M2 in February, your still entitled to free upgrades.

I'm not one of the 120 people who have signed up to follow the announcements on twitter. I rarely go to the web site and thought announcements would be emailed to me as in the past.

Can you explain the "free upgrade" to me. How long is this free offer for? I was incorrect on my purchase date. It was Jan 25th. Thanks. Doug

Take a look at the download page where you got the iso. Everything you are asking is spelled out there.

Don't see it.

I was directed here:
http://www.serverelements.com/upgrades.php

When I input my last download url I get the following:
"You purchased NASLite-M2 CD-ROM ISO Image (Upgrade from SEI-NL2-CDD) at 14:53:50 Feb 15, 2009 PST for $25.22. The latest NASLite-M2 CD-ROM ISO Image (Upgrade from SEI-NL2-CDD) release is available from your DOWNLOAD page. Currently, this product qualifies you for the following instant product discounts:

NASLite-M2 CD-ROM - (SEI-NL2-M2)
List Price: $34.95 - You Save: $12.23 (35% Off)Your Price: $22.72 "

When I purchase, and follow the instructions on the email, I'm directed to an Instant Download page.

There is no info there about the questions I was asking.
