I recently turned on journaling on my NASLite-M2 SATA drives. It may be a coincidence, but now my system load when idle is hovering around 20%. This is over the last several days. Before journaling was turned on, system load it was 0% - 5%.

Is this normal?

I have a P4 2GHZ CPU with 1GB ram.

Tony or Ralph, Can you comment on this?

I just need to confirm that journaling is what caused the consistent system load of ~20%.

Much appreciated.
