OK... I just set up a NASLite server using an old IBM and some hard drives cannibalized off of various machines. Right now I only have two drives. One of them has SMART built in, and reports as healthy in the NASLite server HTML pages. The other disk reports no on-board SMART. But I'm still getting the three-high, three-low beeps that are supposed to signify a SMART failure! From the non-SMART Disk-1:

Is there something I need to know that will cool it on the beeps? It's driving my wife bonkers.
I'm wondering if my Disk-1 is firing off the beeps for some reason... is there a way to hack the floppy so that it doesn't beep any more for that drive? I don't need Chicken Little warning me about the sky every five minutes, but a warning if Drive-2 decides to flake out might be nice.
