Does anyone know if it is at all possible to create a logical partiton using multiple network drives so that they appear to be one drive? Is there any software that can create this or can you do it in XP professional?

as far as I know there are only 3 ways to do this:

RAID (not happening as it sounds like it more than one box and NL does not support it anyway)
Symlinks (unreliable as they are not aware of drive capacities)
SAN (thats a whole other ball game i.e. high end stuff)

so unless someone corrects me .... no :(

Not exactly what you asking but, I thought it might be interesting reading.

See my post here about seeing multiple drives/folders on one machine as one folder - http://www.serverelements.com/phpBB2/vi ... 11d8e0bf1d

My two cents !

This may not be what you are looking for, but currently SMB exports a share called Disks that is a single ro mount point of all available drives.
